Happy Birthday to my son, Kyle

Of all days to give birth to a child would be today but 19 years ago. My due date was somewhere like the 16th, but no Kyle decided to pop out early. And my hubby said your not having this kid on our Anniversary, well guess what a 7lb, 15 oz baby boy came into the world on March 8th, 1988 on my 2nd anniversary. SURPRISE. So now we celebrate our sons birthday more then a day for a husband and wife. My son is mildly retarted and will live with us until we pass away. He will always be a kid to me even though he is 19 today. Having a child with needs is a gift from GOD. To see him happy everyday, excited about everything, never sad. A True Blessing.

Hope your Thursday is good and rewarding. The temperature in Vegas on Sat is going to be 80. That's hard to believe. Lots of sun screen for me.

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to Kyle too!! I agree with you about the special needs child being a special blessing from God..my youngest is like that....I am thrilled that he is so sweet and wonderful...and will always be more childlike. A true blessing. I wish more people understood that.
