Alpicks Treasures!

Christmas will soon be here. It has sunk up on me like small kids. Where has this year gone to? This year I am in a better mood about Christmas. Last year I was a hum bug with Mom being gone, I just was not up to it. But this year I have come to realize that Mom would not want us to be sad and depressed. She was 83 when she passed in June of 06. I hope that I am that lucky to live that long and see all my kids and grand kids grow up. Even though I know that Mom is not with us, I know she is looking down and watching us. So I hope that everyone will have a nice Christmas this year knowing that GOD and our loved ones are with us. Memories are one of GODS gifts he gives us. And I treasure everyone of mine, what ever they may be.

Don't get to stressed over the Holidays, enjoy your family and friends,

Have a great week, its cold here. We got alittle bit of snow in the mountains and rain on the ground, so It does feel like winter here. Take care.....

Glad your doing better this year, we got to celebrate our lost loved ones whenever we can. I love the ornament idea you posted about on my blog, not silly at all, those will be treasures to your kids someday! Now, let's see your tree!

I am glad you are getting in the spirit this year. I know how you feel as I'm not in the spirit at all. Well maybe a little. Getting there. You take care. MB

What a lovely post, Allison, and so true. It takes time to heal.

Love your header picture, but I'm guessing that snow is not from your backyard?
