Saturday Drives

Hello to all out there in Blog land. Its hard to believe that we are so close to the end of the year? And soon Santa will be here and all the children will be so excited and can't sleep just waiting up and listening for the noise on the roof of Santa's sled. OK enough of the poet which I am not. But all in Nevada is ok. I will be glad when it will warm up some, Yesterday I went to work and it said 26 in the van, beeeeerrrrr... Today is my husbands birthday, hes 51. So Danielle wanted to see the Devils Hole in Amargosa Valley and off we went. Since Mark drives the bus and sometimes drives that route he knows where all of her friends live so we toured around Amargosa Valley and Ash Meadows, that's a National Wildlife Refuge. So we checked out a lake that I think they are draining, WHY I ask when we live in the desert and water is hard to find. It was sad to see and to think of all the memories I have there, you can not even fish there anymore. I checked out the old trailer park where Sue used to live, took couple of pictures and that was our day. Mark cooked Supper and soon its off to bed. Hope that all of you are doing well and keeping warm. After Friday I will be gone for a few days, off to California to see family for Christmas, so if I do not post again, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! I will be back on the 28th. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!
1ST PICTURE is Crystal Lake

Cool pictures, Allison. I like to see pictures of your desert area since we live in the wet west and it is squishy outside right now. But continually GREEN. Have fun in California with family and Happy Christmas to you. MB

Those places look vagly familiar to me... LOL. I'm thinking of driving back there before it gets hot again. How sad the lake is going away. I caught my first Bass there, seems like yesterday

Happy Birthday to Mark!! But why did he have to cook on his day? LOL Yes, nothing stays the same does it and it makes no sense to drain a lake in the desert? Nice photos, at least they can't take our memories! Hi to Howard! Have a safe trip to Cailf. Love the new look of your blog too!
