October today!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My dear friend had breast cancer shortly after her husband passed away. She was one of the lucky ones who has beat it. My heart and prayers goes out to all in this fight to survive.

Happy October!

Where did September go to?

Next month is Thanksgiving.

I got an email this morning about making 911 a holiday. Would like you opion on this. Should we make it one? I don't think so, They did not make Pearl Harbor and National holiday, tell me what you think. Enjoy your Wednesday!

A holiday should represent a triumph or tribute to something good, 911 was a tragic event. My vote would be no too

I think we need a National day to remember and honor, this one is the only one I've heard of? I lost my best friend, Judy to complications of breast cancer so this cause is near to my heart too! Happy October sis!! Love Ya!!

Hey Allison--I haven't been by lately--no excuses either.
As for a holiday--no I don't think so. We will always remember though. MB

I don't want 911 a holiday. It's not a day to rush out and celebrate.

Happy October to you!
